Transportation of Rock Salt from Main Mine to PMDC Salt Depot Khewra

The Pakistan Mineral Development Corporation (PMDC) invites bids for the transportation of good quality Rock Salt from the Main Mine to the PMDC Salt Depot located in Khewra. This procurement is for non-consultancy services under a National Single Stage-One Envelope procedure using Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) technique. The scope involves transporting approximately 130,000 metric tons of rock salt from nearly 80 working faces scattered inside the mine to the salt depot. The contract duration is for the financial year 2026-27 with service delivery expected to commence on September 30, 2026. Items being procured: - Transportation of good quality Rock Salt from Main Mine (almost 80 working faces scattered inside the mine) to PMDC Salt Depot Khewra (130,000 M.T) Bidders must be registered on EPADS v2.0 and submit their bids electronically through the EPADS portal before the deadline of Wednesday, September 16, 2026 at 11:00 AM. Manual submissions will not be entertained. A bid security in the form of Pay Order, Banker's Cheque, Call at Deposit, or Demand Draft is required. The bid security must be submitted in original to the PMDC Head Office in Islamabad before the bid submission deadline. Eligibility criteria include valid registration certificates, experience certificates, financial soundness proof, and affidavits regarding litigation and conflicts of interest. The procuring agency reserves the right to reject all bids and annul the procurement process without liability. Technical and financial bids will be opened on the same day at 11:30 AM via EPADS. The contract will be awarded to the most advantageous bidder as per the LCBS method. Performance guarantee of 5% of the contract price will be required from the successful bidder.
