Transportation of Wheat Bags from TCP Rental Godown Pipri to Landhi Godowns District Malir Karachi

The Regional Directorate of Food Karachi is procuring transportation services for wheat bags from TCP Rental Godown Pipri to Landhi Godowns and PRCs in District Malir, Karachi. This contract covers the wheat crop years 2022-23 and 2023-24 with a contract period up to 28-02-2027. Items being procured: - Transportation of wheat bags from TCP Rental Godown Pipri to Landhi Godowns / PRCs of District Malir, Karachi Food Region - Loading, unloading, and proper stacking inside godowns up to 15 to 18 bags high - Collection and stitching of torn or slack bags including cost of sutli The contractor is responsible for lifting the correct number of bags on a 100% weighment basis and delivering them to designated incharges at PRCs / Landhi Godowns. The weight of bardana (bags) will not be charged towards transportation. The contractor bears full responsibility for any en-route shortages or damages, with penalties applied for losses. The scope includes safe handling, stacking, and timely delivery with penalties for delays or shortages as per Food Department Government of Sindh regulations. Eligibility criteria include a complete company profile with CNIC copies, NTN and Sindh Revenue Board registration, paid-up professional tax challans for the last three years, registration with the Registrar of Firms or SECP, bank statements showing a minimum average turnover of Rs. 300 million over the last three years, evidence of transportation sources, at least five years of transportation experience, proof of minimum daily lifting capacity of 2000 metric tons, and latest performance certificates from Food Department regions. Bidders must also submit audited financial statements for three years and an affidavit confirming no blacklisting or default with the Food Department. The bid security is Rs. 2,500,000 in the form of a call deposit receipt valid for 28 days beyond bid validity. The bid validity period is 90 days from the date of bid opening. Bids must be submitted online via SPPRA e-PADS by 10-08-2026 at 02:00 PM, with opening at 02:30 PM the same day. The contract value is estimated at Rs. 150 million with a 2% performance security required upon award.
