Transportation of Wheat and Bardana from TCP Rental Godown Pipri to Landhi Godowns/PRCs of District Malir Karachi

The Regional Directorate of Food Karachi Region invites sealed tenders for the transportation of Wheat and Bardana from TCP Rental Godown Pipri to Landhi Godowns/PRCs of District Malir, Karachi for the crop years 2023-24 and 2022-23. The contract period is up to 28th February 2027. Items being procured: - Transportation of 60,800 M.T of Wheat and Bardana from Privately Hired Godown TCP Pipri, Karachi This tender requires the contractor to load, unload, and transport the goods personally or through authorized representatives. The contractor must ensure proper stacking at the godown, maintain quality, and bear responsibility for any shortages or damages. The rate per bag of 101 Kg gross must be quoted in words and figures, including all transportation and loading/unloading charges. The contractor must comply with all safety and security measures and penalties apply for delays or damages. Eligibility criteria include a complete company profile with official addresses and CNIC copies, NTN and Sindh Revenue Board registration, paid-up professional tax challans for the last three years, registration certificates from the Registrar of Firms and SECP, and a bank statement showing an average financial turnover of at least Rs. 300 million over the last three years. Firms must provide evidence of transportation capacity, five years of experience, and proof of daily lifting capacity of 2000 M.T. Transport contractors with prior experience with the Food Department must provide the latest performance and no dues certificates. An affidavit on a non-judicial stamp paper is also required. The tender form can be obtained from the Assistant Accounts Officer (Food) Karachi office or downloaded from the SPPRA e-PADS website. The bid security of Rs. 2,500,000 must be submitted in the form of call deposit or CDR. The financial bid must be submitted online by 10th August 2026 at 2:00 PM, with opening at 2:30 PM the same day. Successful bidders must pay all applicable taxes and submit a performance security of 2% of the contract value.
