Procurement of Underground and Improved Field Cables with Accessories

The General Headquarters Signals Directorate Rawalpindi is procuring a range of Information Technology based cables and accessories for the financial year 2026/27. This procurement is specifically for the city of Rawalpindi and includes underground cables of various pair counts from 10 to 300 pairs, improved field cables (IFC-1 and IFC-2), hybrid cables, drop wires, jumper wires, distribution points, cabinets of multiple capacities, jointing kits, and cabinet strips. The scope covers supply of high-quality unarmoured cables and related accessories suitable for secure and reliable communication infrastructure. Eligible bidders must be original manufacturers or authorized distributors/contractors registered with Income Tax and Sales Tax authorities. Firms should be security cleared and registered with reputed government departments such as the Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Defence Production, or Ministry of Information Technology. No refurbished items will be accepted. The tender documents can be obtained from the General Headquarters Signals Battalion Quarter Master Branch on Adayala Road Rawalpindi upon payment of a non-refundable tender fee of Rs 10,000 via bank draft in favor of the General Headquarters Signals Directorate. The submission deadline is 14 July 2026 at 10:30 hours, with technical proposals opening at 11:00 hours on the same day. Financial bids will be opened after evaluation of technical proposals in the presence of bidders' representatives. The procuring agency reserves the right to reject any or all bids without assigning reasons but will communicate grounds for rejection upon request.
