Upholstery, Polishing and Repainting of Furniture at Executive Building Islamabad

The Capital Development Authority (CDA), through its Civil-Maintenance Division PMOH, Maintenance of Public Buildings Directorate, invites sealed bids for the procurement of works related to upholstery, polishing, and repainting of furniture at the Executive Building in Islamabad. This procurement is planned for the financial year 2026-27 and is identified by tender number P153948. Items being procured include: - Upholstery of bedroom/office chairs (98 Nos) - Upholstery of sofa seats (3 seater - 16 Nos, 2 seater - 2 Nos, single seater - 17 Nos) - Upholstery of dewan (3 seater - 1 No) - Upholstery of Ottoman seat (1 No) - Upholstery of lawn chairs (4 Nos) - Upholstery of dining chairs (16 Nos) - Repairing of office chairs (6 Nos) - Upholstery of double bed (1 No) - Replacement of canopy fabric and repairing parade area canopy (1 No each) - Replacement of travelling chairs loose cover (7 Nos) - Replacement of office chairs table top (3 Nos) - Providing small cushions (49 Nos) - Repairing recliner chair (1 No) - Repairing presentation board and replacement of wooden beading (1 No) - Repairing revolving chairs with new base and cylinder (4 Nos) - Lacquer polishing and repainting of various furniture items including sofa seats, tables, chairs, ottoman, console, iron stand, net set, entrance table, dining table, bedroom chairs, wardrobes, shoe racks, wall hanging frames, coat hangers - Dry cleaning and shampooing of carpets, sofas, office chairs, dining chairs, curtains, blinds, pelmets, quilts, hand knotted and machine made carpets - Providing and fixing roller blinds, verman blinds, imported wallpaper, heat resistant frosted paper, frosted paper, hard wall panels, PVC wall panels, false ceiling, roman blinds - Replacement of curtains, blackout curtains, net curtains, pelmet design - Providing and fixing imported laminated wooden floor, wooden skirting - Supply of new sofa seats (various types), folding chairs, bags for chairs, spring mattresses, pillows, mattress covers - Providing and fixing bookshelves, high pile synthetic carpet runners, synthetic carpets, carpet underlay, masjid prayer rugs, plastic mats, door mats, floor mats - Repair of carpet runners for guard of honour area - Providing and fixing curtain rods, curtain railings, heavy duty curtain railings, curtain operating pulley set The scope covers all materials including approved quality sofa cloth, markeen cloth, nails, doori, rubber, parachute thread, samad bond, master molty foam or equivalent, lacquer and deco paints, and all necessary accessories and workmanship as per instructions and satisfaction of the Engineer Incharge. Eligible bidders must be registered with PEC for works, have valid FBR registration, and meet all eligibility criteria as per bidding documents. Bid security in the form of Call at Deposit or bid securing declaration is required. Bids must be submitted electronically via EPADS v2.0 portal by 26 October 2026 at 11:30 AM. Manual bids will not be accepted. Technical and financial bids will be evaluated using Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) technique. The contract duration is 60 days from commencement. Performance guarantee is not required for this contract. The procuring agency reserves the right to reject all bids. Grievances can be submitted online via EPADS. A practical tip for bidders: Ensure timely registration on EPADS v2.0 and submit all required documents including original bid security to the specified office before bid opening to avoid disqualification.
