Tender Description
The Home and Tribal Affairs Department Balochistan has constituted a Video Investigation Commission to conduct an inquiry into the martyrdom of Major Muhammad Nawaz and his companions during a counter-insurgency operation. This public notice invites all concerned individuals, witnesses, and stakeholders to provide any relevant information, evidence, or testimony that may assist the commission in its investigation. The commission is seeking cooperation from the public to ensure a transparent and thorough inquiry process.
Items being procured:
- Collection of statements, evidence, and testimonies from witnesses and stakeholders regarding the incident involving Major Muhammad Nawaz and his team
The scope of the commission includes gathering factual information, reviewing available video and documentary evidence, and recording statements from all relevant parties. The commission will operate from Quetta and will follow all legal and procedural requirements as per the Balochistan government's directives. Individuals with pertinent information are encouraged to submit their statements in writing or appear in person before the commission within the stipulated timeframe.
Eligibility to participate is open to all citizens, witnesses, and stakeholders who possess information related to the incident. There is no requirement for PEC registration or bid security, as this is an inquiry commission rather than a procurement of goods or works. However, participants must ensure that their submissions are factual and supported by evidence where possible.
All statements and evidence must be submitted to the commission's office in Quetta by 28 August 2026. Submissions can be made in person or through written correspondence. For those intending to appear in person, it is advisable to bring all supporting documents and identification for verification purposes.
A practical tip for participants: Ensure that your statement is clear, concise, and accompanied by any available video or documentary evidence to strengthen the commission's inquiry and facilitate a fair investigation.
