Tender Description
The Multan Electric Power Company (MEPCO) is procuring Walk Through Metal Detector Gates for security purposes at its facilities in Multan, Punjab. This procurement is planned for the financial year 2026-27 and aims to enhance security measures at the Multan Transformer Reclamation Workshop and related premises.
Items being procured:
- Walk Through Metal Detector Gate (Quantity: 5 units)
The metal detector gates must conform to the specified technical requirements including dimensions approximately 2200 H × 850 W × 500 mm, passage dimensions approximately 2000 H × 700 W × 500 mm, weight between 50 to 80 Kg, power supply 220–240 V, 50 Hz, power consumption not more than 50 W, built-in surge protection, electromagnetic field metal detection technology, sensitivity level 0–99, automatic environment calibration, audible alarm with adjustable volume, password protection, LCD or LED multi-zone display with minimum 18 zones, and operating temperature up to 50°C. Complete installation with all accessories and operating manual is required.
Eligible bidders must comply with PEC category requirements, be registered with FBR and on the Active Taxpayer List, and have relevant experience supplying similar equipment. Manufacturer authorization is mandatory if the bidder is not the manufacturer. Bids must include bid security and comply with all tender conditions.
The tender is based in Multan, Punjab, with submission and opening of bids through the EPADS v2.0 system. The deadline for bid submission is **August 6, 2026, 10:00 AM**, with bid opening at 10:30 AM the same day. The physical bid security must be submitted to MEPCO Complex, Wapda Colony, Khanewal Road, Multan before the deadline.
