Tender Description
This tender invites bids for the construction of multiple Water Supply Schemes (WSS) in the Samungli area of Quetta, including bore drilling and solar system installation. The Public Health Engineering Department (PHED) Quetta requires experienced contractors to develop WSS at Killi Nawab Khan, Killi Wahab Khan, Killi Gbundhi Khan Meryani Street, and Samungli road areas. The projects involve drilling and development of bores and installation of solar power systems to ensure sustainable water supply. The estimated costs range from PKR 4.7 million to PKR 6.4 million per work, reflecting the scale and technical requirements of these infrastructure projects in Balochistan's challenging terrain.
Contractors must have at least three years of relevant experience in PHE projects and demonstrate financial capacity with turnover records. Valid registration with tax authorities including NTN and sales tax, as well as with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in the relevant category, is mandatory. The PEC enlistment must be renewed for the fiscal year 2025-26. Tender fees and bid security in the form of Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) are required as per the tender notice. This ensures compliance with Balochistan Public Procurement Regulatory Authority rules and safeguards the procurement process.
The submission deadline is set for 13th March 2026 at 11:00 AM, with tender opening scheduled for 12:00 PM the same day. Bidders must submit sealed bids to the office of the Executive Engineer, PHED E&M Division Quetta. Tender documents will be issued upon presentation of the non-refundable tender fee. The office address is clearly stated for submission and inquiries.
Pro-Tip: Carefully review the tender advertisement for specific requirements on Earnest Money and Call Deposit details. Ensure the firm’s complete title matches the CDR and original CNICs are presented to avoid disqualification. No pay orders are accepted, so plan your financial instruments accordingly.
