Tender Description
The National Grid Pakistan invites bids for the procurement of civil works related to the welding of tower nuts, bolts and application of anti-rust paint from 8.0 meters to 15.0 meters (up to barbed wire) on towers numbered 1 to 140 of the 500 KV HVDC Lahore North CCT-I & II Transmission Line. This procurement is planned for the fiscal year 2026-27 under the supervision of the Director General (Field Operations) Faisalabad (Executive Director (Field Operations) North, Lahore).

- Welding of tower nuts
- Bolts
- Application of anti-rust paint from 8.0 meters to 15.0 meters (up to barbed wire)
- Towers numbered 1 to 140 of 500 KV HVDC Lahore North CCT-I & II Transmission Line
The scope includes detailed welding and protective painting works on high voltage transmission towers to ensure structural integrity and corrosion resistance. The works will be carried out on site along the specified transmission line in Lahore.
Eligible bidders must be registered on the EPADS v2.0 platform and comply with the Public Procurement Rules, 2004. Bids must be submitted electronically via EPADS by Tuesday, November 10, 2026, 11:30 AM. Technical and financial bids will be opened on the same day at 12:00 PM. All bids must be accompanied by bid security in the form of Pay Order, Call at Deposit, or Bank Guarantee as per bidding documents. Manual submissions are not entertained.
Bidders are advised to carefully review the bidding documents available on EPADS and ensure timely registration and submission. The use of the Single Stage Two Envelope method with Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) technique is mandated. For assistance, bidders can refer to the tutorial available on YouTube and the grievance redressal committee is notified as per rules.
A practical tip for bidders: Ensure your EPADS registration is complete well before the deadline to avoid last-minute technical issues. Also, prepare your bid security documents in advance to comply with the bid security requirements.
