Tender Description
This tender invites bids from qualified manufacturers and suppliers for the procurement of a 10-kVA online uninterruptible power supply (UPS) system with compatible batteries for the ACAD-FYDP Lab at NUST Balochistan Campus in Quetta. The department requires a reliable power backup solution to ensure uninterrupted power supply for critical lab equipment.
The scope includes supply, installation, integration, testing, and commissioning of a high-efficiency double conversion online UPS system with a power capacity of 10,000 VA. The UPS must support input voltages from 100-275V (half load) or 173-476V (full load) and provide pure sine wave output with maintenance-free sealed lead-acid batteries. The system should feature multifunction LCD display, USB, serial, and smart slot interfaces for network management, with a minimum five-year comprehensive warranty covering parts, labor, and technical support. The site location in Quetta demands equipment capable of stable operation under local power fluctuations.
Bidders must be registered with FBR for sales and income tax, active on the taxpayer list, and free from blacklisting or litigation. The bid must remain valid for 90 days post-opening, and a 2% bid security is required. Suppliers should provide recent utility bills, purchase orders for similar UPS supplies, and financial statements for FY 2024-25. Compliance with PEC categories and FBR/ATL status is essential for eligibility.
The submission deadline is set for 14 April 2026, with bid opening at 1100 hrs on the same day at the Admin Conference Room, 1st Floor, NUST Balochistan Campus, Quetta. Bids must be submitted electronically via EPADS, with hard copies presented at bid opening. The procurement branch is located at Kach Road near Sheikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Cardiac Centre.
Pro-Tip: Ensure your bid includes the original Pay Order or Bank Draft of Rs. 1,000 as a non-refundable tender processing fee and a Rs. 100 stamp paper contract agreement as per NUST policy. Missing these often leads to disqualification, so double-check your documents before submission.
