Tender Description
This tender invites bids for the supply and installation of a 10-kW online uninterruptible power supply (UPS) system with compatible batteries for the auditorium at NUST Balochistan Campus in Quetta. The procurement is managed by the National University of Sciences & Technology (NUST), Balochistan Campus, focusing on power and electrical equipment.
The scope includes supply, installation, integration, testing, and commissioning of a three-phase grid-interactive hybrid photovoltaic power conversion system. The system features a 10 kW rated hybrid inverter with online UPS-grade transfer functionality and a 48 V nominal DC battery bank. It must comply with IP20 and IP65 standards and deliver three-phase AC output with configurable voltage levels. The system should ensure high efficiency, dynamic overload handling, and compatibility with various battery chemistries including VRLA, AGM, GEL, and lithium-ion with integrated Battery Management System (BMS). Installation and performance verification will follow IEC, IEEE, NEPRA, and PEC standards, with a minimum five-year comprehensive manufacturer warranty.
Bidders must be registered with FBR, active on the taxpayer list, and free from litigation or blacklisting. The bid security is 2% of the quoted value, payable via pay order or bank draft in favor of PETTY CASH NUST CAMPUS QUETTA. The firm must provide recent utility bills, purchase orders for UPS supply, and financial statements for FY 2024-25. PEC category and FBR ATL status are essential for compliance, and vendors should ensure all documentation is complete and valid for at least 90 days post bid opening.
