Tender Description
The Gujranwala Electric Power Company Limited (GEPCO) is procuring a complete 132-kV ZM-1 Tower along with 300 stubs and cleats for delivery at the GEPCO Warehouse in Wazirabad. This procurement is planned under the FY 2025-26 budget and aims to enhance the power infrastructure in Gujranwala. The technical scope includes supply of the tower and associated fittings, ensuring compliance with NTDC Type Test Policy 2023 for equipment quality and performance. Bidders must be registered or prequalified firms with DISCOs, NTDC, WAPDA, GENCOS, or PPMC as authorized dealers, manufacturers, or suppliers. The tender requires submission of a Bid Security in the form of Pay Order, Banker's Cheque, Call Deposit, Bank Guarantee, or Demand Draft. Bids must be submitted electronically via EPADS v2.0 by 10:45 AM on May 4, 2026, with opening at 11:15 AM the same day. Manual submissions are not accepted. Bidders should have valid FBR/ATL registration and relevant experience in similar power equipment supply. The bid validity period is 150 days, with Bid Guarantee valid for 28 days beyond bid validity. It is crucial to upload all files with the firm's name and brief description in the filename on EPADS. Bidders are advised to regularly check the EPADS portal for clarifications and submit queries at least three days before the opening date. A practical tip for bidders is to ensure all type test reports are complete and from designated laboratories as incomplete or missing reports will lead to rejection. This tender offers a significant opportunity for suppliers specializing in power infrastructure components to engage with a major DISCO in Punjab.
