2nd Bidding Under Trophy Hunting in Gilgit-Baltistan for the Hunting Season 2026-2027

The Chief Conservator Parks & Wildlife Gilgit-Baltistan invites bids for the 2nd bidding under trophy hunting for the 2026-2027 hunting season. This opportunity is for the procurement of Trophy Hunting Permits of Himalayan Ibex in respective Conservancies/CCHAs. The auction will be held on 8th October 2026 at 10:30 AM in the office of the Chief Conservator Parks & Wildlife Department, Forest & Wildlife Complex Jutial, Gilgit. Trophy hunting will be conducted as per the GB Trophy Hunting Guidelines 2019. The hunting season for ungulate species will begin on 15th October 2026 and end on 10th April 2027. Items being procured: - Himalayan Ibex Exportable (Prime CCHA) 06 permits, Reserved Price USD 11000 each, Call Deposit per Trophy USD 2000, License Fee USD 300 - Himalayan Ibex Exportable (Others) 04 permits, Reserved Price USD 6500 each, Call Deposit per Trophy USD 2000, License Fee USD 300 - Himalayan Ibex Non-Exportable (Others) 01 permit, Reserved Price Rs. 500000, Call Deposit Rs. 100000, License Fee Rs. 10000 The scope includes issuance of hunting permits for designated community-managed Conservancies/CCHAs. Bidders must deposit the call deposit against each trophy in the name of Chief Conservator Parks & Wildlife Circle Gilgit-Baltistan prior to participation. The department will arrange logistics including travel, boarding, lodging, import and export permits, insurance, and visa, but hunters or their facilitators are responsible for these arrangements. Only hunters with valid permits will be allowed to hunt, and permits issued to GB residents are non-transferable to non-GB residents. The department will not be responsible for any accident, sickness, or death during hunting. Eligibility requires registration with the Parks & Wildlife Department Gilgit-Baltistan. Earnest money and call deposits are mandatory. Successful bidders must deposit trophy hunting permit fees and other dues within 15 days after the auction date, or the permit will be cancelled. Registration fee of Rs. 20,000 per outfitter/company is applicable for a period of 3 years. The department reserves the right to accept or reject any or all tenders. Bids must be submitted by 8th October 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Chief Conservator Parks & Wildlife office in Gilgit.
