Tender Description
This tender invites bids for the supply and installation of 6 KW hybrid solar power systems including DB panels and requisite cabling works at multiple National Bank of Pakistan branches in the Mirpurkhas region, Sindh. The procurement is managed by the National Bank of Pakistan, Karachi, under the category of Power, Electrical & Solar Equipment.
The project scope covers delivery, installation, testing, and commissioning of hybrid solar systems with high-quality components such as tier one solar panels rated 580-610W, hybrid inverters with IP65 protection, lithium-ion batteries, and MS mounting structures powder coated for durability. The installation includes DC and AC cabling with proper conduits and safety measures, ensuring seamless integration with existing electrical infrastructure at the specified branch locations. The supplier must provide comprehensive warranties, online monitoring capabilities, and after-sales support through a local office in Karachi.
Bidders must comply with PEC specialization code EE 11 (iii), be active taxpayers, and not be blacklisted. They must demonstrate relevant experience with at least two similar contracts worth Rs. 10 million each in the last three years. Manufacturer authorization and local presence for after-sales service are mandatory. The contract requires delivery and installation within 120 calendar days from the effective contract date.
Submission of bids must be through the e-Pak Acquisition & Disposal System (EPADS) by 11:00 AM on March 30, 2026, with bid opening at 11:30 AM the same day. The physical address for bid opening is the 3rd Floor, NBP Head Office Building, I.I. Chundrigar Road, Karachi. Bidders must submit a bid security of Rs. 360,000 in the form of a bank guarantee, payment order, or banker's cheque.
