Tender Description

The Punjab Forest Department invites tenders for the afforestation project titled 'Afforestation Along Linear Plantations in Punjab' covering 80 average kilometers in Sheikhupura and Nankana Sahib districts. The project involves planting and maintenance of plants along linear plantation development schemes with a total target of 80 average kilometers. Items being procured: - Cost of plants including 15% restocking (330+50=380 Nos.) in polythene bags including loading, unloading & carriage (380 Nos.) - Planting of plants including local carriage (380 Nos.) - Hand watering of plants 30 times with tractor and water bowsers 330 x 30 = 9900 Nos. - Cost of pol for watering 30 times (30 Nos.) - 2.5 hours per irrigation x 6 liters per hour x 30 = 180 liters per 2x water pumps - Weeding 1 time @ 2.0 per Av. Km (1 Km) - Rakha for protection of afforestation one Rakha for 20 Av. Km (1 Km) - Reopening of pits 1 time for 330 pits (330 Ct.) - Unforeseen (L/S) The scope includes supply, planting, watering, irrigation, weeding, protection, and reopening of pits for afforestation along the specified linear plantation sites in Sheikhupura and Nankana Sahib. The project requires contractors registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council for the 2026-27 financial year and registration on the Punjab Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) website. Earnest money in the form of CDR at 5% of the estimated cost is mandatory. Tender submission and opening will be held on 14th September 2026 at 11:00 AM at the office of the Deputy Conservator of Forests, Sheikhupura / Nankana Forest Division. Technical and financial bids will be opened on the same day. The successful bidder will be responsible for all taxes, payments, and maintenance during the financial year 2026-27. Bidders are advised to carefully review the detailed terms and conditions, including blacklisting provisions and bid validity requirements. The tender documents are available on the PPRA website. Note that applications received through courier, post, or email will not be accepted.
