Heavy Industries Taxila (HIT) invites sealed bids from eligible manufacturers, authorized dealers, distributors, suppliers, or firms for two separate tenders: Annual Calibration of Master Instruments / Equipment and Annual Proficiency Testing to Maintain Accreditation Status. Both tenders require submission of separate technical and commercial bids in sealed envelopes by 10:30 hours on 03 September 2026 at the Supply Chain Management Directorate, HIT Taxila Cantt. Items being procured for Annual Calibration include: - Set Gauge Block Set (112 pcs) Grade 00 - Gauge Block Set (47 pcs) Grade 01 - Digital Pressure Gauge ADT 681 (0 ~ 1000 bar) x2 - Digital Pressure Gauge ADT 681-02 (0 ~ 70 bar) x2 - Digital Pneumatic Pressure Gauge (1 ~ 0 bar) x2 - Digital Thermometer (Thermocouple K type, -40 ~ +1000 oC) - Digital Outside Mic (0 ~ 150mm) - Digital Vernier Caliper (0 ~ 300mm) - Digital Hygrometer (-10 ~ 50 oC) x3 - Thermocouple Calibration Furnace (100 ~ 1210 oC) - Temperature Dry well Calibrator (-40 ~ 160 oC) - Precision Digital Thermometer (with PRT probe, -40 ~ 650 oC) - Stop Watch (100ms ~ 23.59 hrs) - Weight set 28 pcs E2 class - Weights 10kg, 20 kg F1 class x2 - Torque Wrench Tester (20-400 kgfm) - Level (0.02 mm Accuracy) For Annual Proficiency Testing, the firm will arrange 3x PTs from an ISO/IEC 17043:2010 accredited PT provider in the following parameters: - Pressure: Digital Pneumatic Pressure Gauge (-0.5 ~ 30 bar) - Temperature: Digital Thermometer (K type Thermocouple, -20 ~ 350 oC) - Dimension: Digital Vernier Calliper/Digital Micrometre (0 ~ 150 mm) The scope includes managing all fees, payments, and transport related to calibration and proficiency testing. Firms must comply with PNAC policies and provide services in accordance with ISO/IEC standards. Eligibility requires valid NTN, Sales Tax Registration, and compliance with DPP&I-35. Firms must submit bid security as Call Deposit Receipt, Bank Draft, or Pay Order in favor of Director SCM, HIT Taxila. Technical bids must include all required documents such as registration certificates, audit reports, CNIC copies, OEM agreements, and a postal order of Rs 2,000. Bids will be evaluated on least cost basis with technical and performance criteria. The contract duration is 6 months after signing. Payment terms include 100% payment within one month of accepted delivery. Performance Bank Guarantee of 5% of contract value is mandatory.
