Tender Description
Heavy Industries Taxila, located in Taxila, Punjab, is inviting sealed bids from reputed firms possessing NTN certificates for two separate but related services: the Annual Calibration of Master Instruments / Equipments and the Annual Proficiency Testing to Maintain Accreditation Status. These procurements are critical for maintaining the accuracy and accreditation of metrology and testing laboratories under PNAC policies.
Items being procured for Annual Calibration include:

- PNAC accredited calibration of 20 pcs gauge blocks

For Annual Proficiency Testing, the firm will arrange 3x PTs in the following parameters:
- Pressure: Digital Pneumatic Pressure Gauge (-0.5 ~ 30 bar)
- Temperature: Digital Thermometer with K type Thermocouple (-20 ~ 350 oC)
- Dimension: Digital Vernier Calliper/Digital Micrometre (0 ~ 150 mm)
The technical scope requires that calibration and proficiency testing be conducted by ISO/IEC 17025:2017 and ISO/IEC 17043:2010 accredited labs respectively, ensuring optimum measurement uncertainty and compliance with PNAC policies. The firms must manage all fees, payments, and transportation costs related to these services.
Eligibility criteria include possession of NTN certificates, non-blacklisting, and compliance with DPP&I-35 regulations.
