The contract spans one year from the first written work order with an estimated annual value of PKR 4,000,000 based on the MES Schedule of Rates 2025. The scope includes civil and structural repairs, maintenance of MES buildings, and related works within the Zone-I area of Okara Cantt.
The works require skilled artificers capable of handling a variety of construction and repair tasks, including masonry, carpentry, and minor electrical and plumbing repairs. The site is located within a military cantonment, demanding adherence to strict security and quality standards. Contractors must be familiar with MES specifications and schedules, ensuring timely and efficient execution of works under the supervision of GE (A)-II Okara.

It is advisable to prepare a valid Earnest Money in the form of a Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) as per tender conditions. Familiarity with MES General Conditions of Contract (PAFW-2249) and related amendments is essential for successful participation.
The tender submission deadline is at 1150 hours on the specified closing date, with bids to be delivered physically to the office of GE (A)-II Okara Cantt. The tender opening will follow immediately after submission. All documents, including technical and financial bids, must be complete and submitted in sealed envelopes clearly marked with the contract number.
Pro-Tip: Carefully review the MES Schedule of Rates 2025 and ensure your bid percentage aligns with the uniform percentage allowed. Also, verify the stamp duty requirements in the newspaper advertisement, as these are often overlooked and can lead to disqualification.
