Tender Description
NOTE: This is an AUCTION/LEASE notice, not a procurement tender. Bidders pay the department to acquire ownership, lease, rental, or collection rights.
The National Highway Authority (NHA) Punjab-South Region invites interested parties to participate in a public/open auction for the disposal of fallen wood logs stocked at two locations: NHA Laboratory Harappa (KM-1086, N-5) and Mian Channu Toll Plaza (KM-1034, N-5) in Multan. This auction is conducted on an 'As is and Where is Basis' ensuring transparency and fair competition.
Items being auctioned:
- Lot 1: Eucalyptus wood, approximately 154.81 (40 KG units), stocked at NHA Lab Harappa
- Lot 2: Eucalyptus wood, approximately 372.09 (40 KG units), stocked at Mian Channu Toll Plaza
Bidders can inspect the lots during working hours up to September 07, 2026. The auction will commence at 1230 hours on September 08, 2026, at the NHA Regional Complex, Nag Shah Chowk (N-70), Multan.
Participants must submit a refundable token money of Rs. 25,000 via Pay Order/Demand Draft/CDR in favor of General Manager (Punjab-South) NHA Retention Money Account along with a copy of valid CNIC by 1200 hours on the auction day. The highest bidder must deposit 10% earnest money on the spot, which is non-refundable. Failure to comply will result in bid rejection and forfeiture of token money.
The balance amount must be paid within six days after approval of the highest bid. Removal of items will be at the purchaser's risk and cost within the specified time. Delays will incur a ground rent charge of 0.5% per day of the total bid amount. Applicable government taxes will be charged separately.
NHA reserves the right to reject any or all bids as per PPRA Rule No. 33(1). Queries can be addressed at the auction site before bidding. This notice is also available on the PPRA website.
Bidders are advised to carefully review the terms and ensure timely submission of token money and earnest money to avoid disqualification. Attending the site visit before bidding is highly recommended to assess the condition and quantity of wood logs.
