Tender Description
NOTE: This is an AUCTION/LEASE notice, not a procurement tender. Bidders pay the department to acquire ownership, lease, rental, or collection rights.
The Garrison Headquarters Peshawar invites bids for auctioneer services to conduct disposal auctions of government property. The auctioneer will operate under an agreement with the Garrison Commander Peshawar and is authorized to conduct public auctions within the designated auction areas at the Garrison Headquarters. The auctioneer must advertise the auction details in two leading newspapers (one English and one Urdu) and use other publicity methods such as handbills and beat of drums to ensure wide public awareness.
Items/Lots involved: Specific auction lots will be provided by the Garrison Headquarters and include various government stores and properties for disposal. The auctioneer must auction these goods in lots as per the lists supplied and cannot sell below the reserve price set by the Garrison Commander or his authorized representative.
The auctioneer is responsible for collecting earnest money (25% of bid value) from bidders at the fall of the hammer and must ensure all payments are deposited into the government treasury within the stipulated time. Delivery notes will be issued for sold lots only after full payment is received. The auctioneer's commission will be deducted from the sale proceeds and deposited into the government treasury.
Eligibility requires compliance with all terms and conditions set by the Garrison Commander, including security deposits and adherence to auction rules. The auctioneer must not bid on any lots themselves or through others. The agreement includes provisions for termination, forfeiture, and care of stores.
Bidders should note the importance of strict adherence to auction areas and security protocols during the auction period. The auctioneer must ensure all advertising and auction conduct complies with government instructions.
Interested parties should prepare to meet the requirements for earnest money, commission handling, and timely deposit of sale proceeds. The auctioneer agreement is a critical document governing the auction process at Garrison Headquarters Peshawar.
A practical tip for bidders: Ensure you understand the auction terms fully, especially the earnest money and payment timelines, to avoid disqualification or forfeiture of bids.
