Auction of Minor Mineral Leases Block Wise in District D.I. Khan

The Mineral Development Department of Dera Ismail Khan is conducting an auction for minor mineral leases across 16 identified blocks in the district. This auction is held under the provisions of Section-78 Sub Section (3) of The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mines & Minerals Act, 2017, for a lease period of one year on an "As is where is" basis. The auction process requires interested registered contractors to submit their applications along with the call deposit and application fee before the auction date. Items being procured: - Spin Qamar (3182.717 acres) - Paniala (2066.115 acres) - Pir Ashab (2965.232 acres) - Sherani Korona/Pirashab (79.948232 acres) - Yarik Block-B (983.479 acres) - Paharpur Nadir Shah (3186.273 acres) - Kirri Pawandgan (2439.8036 acres) - Kirri Khaisoor (56.092 acres) - Kali Kor Khani Wanda Block-B (988.410 acres) - Noraki Wanda (2085.69 acres) - Chah Roshan Wala/Jhok Tahir/Latto Wala (2223.924 acres) - Wanda Abu (276.223 acres) - SaiduWali (1873.478 acres) - Yarik Block-A (2223.924 acres) - Pawandan (242.7 acres) - Daraban Block-B (2223.924 acres) The auction covers a wide range of blocks with varying acreage and reserve prices. The successful bidders will be required to strictly work within the leased blocks and comply with all legal and regulatory requirements including payment of excise duty, withholding tax, and surface rent as per the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mines & Minerals Act, 2017. The bidders must be registered with the Directorate General Mines & Minerals Khyber Pakhtunkhwa as Minor Minerals Contractors and submit attested copies of CNIC, NTN, and partnership deed or memorandum of association if applicable. Applications must be submitted along with a refundable call deposit and a non-refundable application fee of Rs.10,000 plus 2% KPRA sales tax at least three working days before the auction date. The auction is scheduled for 12-08-2026 at 11:00 AM, with a backup date of 13-08-2026 at the same time if required. The auction will be held at the office of the Deputy Commissioner D.I. Khan. Interested parties can visit the office of the Assistant Director (Tech) Mineral Development Bannu to inspect the blocks before bidding.
