AUCTION: Sialkot Railway Land Parking Stand Lease

NOTE: This is an AUCTION/LEASE notice, not a procurement tender. Bidders pay the department to acquire ownership, lease, rental, or collection rights. Pakistan Railways, Lahore Division, through the Office of the Divisional Superintendent, is offering one site of Railway land at Sialkot Railway Station for operation as a Category-A parking stand. The auction will be conducted through open public bidding at Sialkot Railway Station on **24 August 2026 at 10:00 AM**. The offered site is located at Allama Iqbal Chowk, Sialkot, and is intended specifically for parking stand use. Mandatory lot details: Sr. No. 1; IOW/AIOW jurisdiction: IOW-Sialkot; auction station/place: Sialkot Station; location: one site for Parking Stand at Allama Iqbal Chowk, Sialkot; area size: 12.21 Kanal; unit: Kanal; section: WZD-SLK; lease period: 03+02 years; purpose: Parking Stand. The initial three-year lease may be extended for a further two years on mutually agreed terms, with annual rent increasing by 10 percent each year. Site development will be the responsibility of the highest bidder and must follow the MCL-approved recommended plan. Each participant must submit refundable bid security through a Call Deposit Receipt of **Rs. 10,00,000/-** at least one hour before bidding, along with a non-refundable participation fee of **Rs. 20,000/-**. The successful bidder must pay 30 percent of the offered bid as annual rent at the auction. Government employees, Railway defaulters, court litigants against Pakistan Railways, and government or departmental defaulters are ineligible. Participants must also obtain an NOC from MCL Sialkot and comply with Railway Land & Property Rules, 2023, including applicable taxes, duties, fees, and registration charges. Office Lahore, near Bohar Wala Chowk, Lahore, on working days before the auction.
