AUCTION: Renting Out Shops, Canteens & Cafeteria in Main Campus UET Lahore

NOTE: This is an AUCTION/LEASE notice, not a procurement tender. Bidders pay the department to acquire ownership, lease, rental, or collection rights. The University of Engineering & Technology Lahore invites sealed bids from eligible tax registered bidders for renting out and auctioning shops, canteens, and cafeteria spaces located in the main campus. The auction covers various business opportunities at UET shops, canteens, and cafeteria under a single stage two envelope procedure for canteens and cafeteria and a single stage one envelope for shops. Items being auctioned: - 33 Nos. of Canteens - Cafeteria - Shops The bidding document contains detailed terms and conditions. Bid security is set at 5% of the estimated annual rent of each shop, canteen, and cafeteria. The total bid security for all 33 units is Rs. 6,31,265/- based on the total estimated annual rent of Rs. 1,26,65,295/-. Each bidder must submit 5% bid security of the estimated annual rent for the specific shop, canteen, or cafeteria they wish to apply for. Bidding documents can be obtained from the Estate Office during office hours Monday to Friday until 19.10.2026 after submitting a non-refundable receipt of Rs. 5000/- for cafeteria/canteen(s) and Rs. 2000/- for shop(s) deposited in the University Main Account No. 01287902801499 at Habib Bank Ltd., Engineering University Branch, Lahore. Documents are also downloadable from www.uet.edu.pk or www.ppra.punjab.gov.pk. If downloaded, the cost of the bidding document must be attached with the bid. Tenders must be submitted in the Estate Office (Second Floor, Admin Block, UET Lahore) by 10:00 am on 19.10.2026. Opening of tenders will be at 10:30 am the same day in the Conference Room by the Central Procurement Cell in the presence of bidders or their authorized agents. Eligibility requires valid Income Tax registration for shops and Income Tax & GST/PST/PRA for canteens/cafeteria. Bidders should ensure compliance with all tax and registration requirements.
