AUCTION: Sale of Scrap Items Including MS Iron, Aluminum, Copper, and Batteries

NOTE: This is an AUCTION/LEASE notice, not a procurement tender. Bidders pay the department to acquire ownership, lease, rental, or collection rights. The Procurement Directorate in Rawalpindi is conducting an open auction for the sale of various scrap items. The auction will take place at the designated site, and all items will be available for inspection from 30-09-2026 to 27-10-2026 between 10:00 AM and 01:00 PM. Items being auctioned: - MS Iron Scrap (approx. 25 tons) - Aluminum Scrap (approx. 14 tons) - Copper Scrap (approx. 11 tons) - Used Batteries (approx. 2 tons) - Mixed Scrap (approx. 25 tons) All quantities are approximate and will be sold on an as-is-where-is basis. The auction is open to all eligible bidders who can provide the required Earnest Money (CDR/Pay Order) as specified in the notice. The successful bidder must deposit 10 percent of the bid amount as Earnest Money on the spot, with the balance to be paid within the stipulated time frame. Bidders are required to bring their original CNIC and submit their bids in person at the auction venue. The auction process will be transparent, and the highest bid will be considered for approval. All government taxes and duties will be applicable as per rules. The department reserves the right to accept or reject any bid without assigning any reason.
