AUCTION: Sale of Scrap Material by Loads Limited

NOTE: This is an AUCTION/LEASE notice, not a procurement tender. Bidders pay the department to acquire ownership, lease, rental, or collection rights. Loads Limited invites sealed bids for the sale of scrap materials on an "as is where is" basis at their facility in Pakistan Steel Industrial Estate, Bin Qasim Town, Karachi. The auction includes a variety of scrap items with estimated monthly quantities as follows: - Cuttings of MS/GI: 100,000 kgs - Cuttings of SS (Magnetic): 10,000 kgs - Cuttings of SS (Non-Magnetic): 50 kgs - Cuttings of Aluminum: 500 kgs - Cuttings of Copper: 300 kgs - Cuttings of Brass: 300 kgs - Cotton rags: 10,000 kgs - Wooden scrap: 3,000 kgs - Metal chips: 30 kgs - Strip of more than 3-inch size (MS): 10,000 kgs - Strip of more than 3-inch size (SS, Magnetic): 500 kgs - Strip of more than 3-inch size (SS, Non-Magnetic): 10 kgs - Brass tube: 35 kgs - Used oil: 50 liters - Used waste tire (Lifter/Truck/Car): varying monthly pcs - Used drums (Plastic): 5 pcs Interested bidders may inspect the scrap material at their own cost from 0700 to 1200 hours Monday to Friday between 12th and 16th October 2026 at the Loads Limited site. Sealed bids must be submitted to the DGM Supply Chain at the Main Security Gate of Loads Limited by 1200 hours on 16th October 2026. Bids will be opened on 19th October 2026 before the Scrap Sale Committee. Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in the form of Bank Draft or Pay Order equal to 5% of the expected monthly sales (approx. Rs. 20 million). Bids without the required Bid Bond will be rejected. The successful bidder shall deposit Rs. 20 million as advance within five days of award. The contract is for 12 months with fresh bids invited for the next period.
