AUCTION: Sale of Waste at Rikshaws to Recycling Agents by Lahore Waste Management Company

NOTE: This is an AUCTION/LEASE notice, not a procurement tender. Bidders pay the department to acquire ownership, lease, rental, or collection rights. Lahore Waste Management Company invites sealed offers from agents, firms, and contractors for the sale of waste collected at Rikshaws to recycling agents for a period of six months. The auction covers waste from Rikshaws operating across all nine towns of Lahore: Allama Iqbal Town, Aziz Bhatti Town, DGBT, Gulberg Town, Nishtar Town, Ravi Town, Samnabad Town, Shalimar Town, and Wahga Town. Each lot corresponds to one Union Council (UC), and the waste from Rikshaws listed against each lot will be sold to the successful bidder for the full six-month period. Items being auctioned: - Waste at Rikshaws in Allama Iqbal Town - Waste at Rikshaws in Aziz Bhatti Town - Waste at Rikshaws in DGBT - Waste at Rikshaws in Gulberg Town - Waste at Rikshaws in Nishtar Town - Waste at Rikshaws in Ravi Town - Waste at Rikshaws in Samnabad Town - Waste at Rikshaws in Shalimar Town - Waste at Rikshaws in Wahga Town The auction documents, available in English, can be downloaded free of cost from the PPRA Punjab website (https://ppra.punjab.gov.pk). Details including the required security deposit amount, which is 2% of the agent's bidding price inclusive of all taxes, are specified in the auction document. Offers must be delivered to the Lahore Waste Management Company office at or before 1200 hours on October 15, 2026. The bids will be opened the same day at 1230 hours in the presence of bidders' representatives who choose to attend. In case of an official holiday on the submission day, the next working day will be treated as the closing date. Employees of Lahore Waste Management Company are not eligible to participate in this auction.
