AUCTION: Lease of Railway Parking Stand at Sialkot Railway Station

NOTE: This is an AUCTION/LEASE notice, not a procurement tender. Bidders pay the department to acquire ownership, lease, rental, or collection rights. Pakistan Railways, Lahore Division, invites interested parties to participate in the open public auction for leasing one railway-land site for operation as a Category-A parking stand at Sialkot Railway Station. The auction will be conducted through open public bidding at Sialkot Railway Station on 24 August 2026 at 10:00 AM. The site is located at Allama Iqbal Chowk, Sialkot, within the jurisdiction of the Divisional Office Lahore. The lease period is three years, extendable for a further two years on mutually agreed terms, with annual rent increasing by 10 percent each year. Mandatory item or lot details: Lot 1, one site for a parking stand at Allama Iqbal Chowk, Sialkot; area 12.21 Kanal; unit Kanal; section WZD-SLK; lease period 03+02 years; purpose parking stand. No reserve or upset price is printed in the notice. Each participant must submit a refundable bid security of **Rs. 10,00,000** through Call Deposit Receipt and a non-refundable participation fee of **Rs. 20,000**. The bid security must be deposited with the Auction Committee at least one hour before bidding. The successful bidder must pay **30% of the offered bid amount as annual rent** at the time of auction. Government employees, railway defaulters, persons involved in court cases against Pakistan Railways, and defaulters of federal, provincial, or district governments and organizations are ineligible. Participants must obtain an NOC from MCL Sialkot. The lessee will bear applicable taxes, duties, fees, and registration charges, and will be responsible for site development according to an MCL-approved plan. Bidding is in person through open public auction, not through an electronic portal.
