Tender Description
NOTE: This is an AUCTION/LEASE notice, not a procurement tender. Bidders pay the department to acquire ownership, lease, rental, or collection rights.
Municipal Committee Chunian, District Kasur, is conducting a public auction for the collection rights of its slaughterhouse and taxi stand for the period from 1 September 2026 to 30 June 2027. Interested parties are invited to participate in the open auction scheduled for 15 September 2026 at 2:00 PM at the office of the Municipal Committee Chunian. This is an excellent opportunity for local entrepreneurs and contractors to secure the rights to collect fees from these municipal assets for the upcoming financial year.
Items being auctioned:
- Fee Collection Rights for Slaughterhouse Chunian (Reserve Price: Rs. 457,210 per month, Earnest Money: Rs. 45,720)
- Fee Collection Rights for Taxi Stand Chunian (Reserve Price: Rs. 422,916 per month, Earnest Money: Rs. 42,292)
The auction will be held strictly in accordance with the Punjab Local Government Collection Rights Rules 2016. Only those who have registered with the office of the Chief Officer, Municipal Committee Chunian, and have submitted the required earnest money and documentation will be eligible to participate. Successful bidders must deposit 10% of the annual bid amount as security and complete all formalities before commencing operations. The auctioned rights are non-transferable, and the successful bidder will be responsible for all legal and tax obligations as per the rules. The committee reserves the right to reject any or all bids without assigning any reason.
Bidders are advised to carefully review the terms and conditions, ensure timely submission of earnest money, and bring all original documents on the day of the auction. For best results, visit the sites in advance to assess the revenue potential and clarify any queries with the municipal office before bidding. The deadline for participation is strictly enforced, and late applications will not be entertained.
