AUCTION: Unserviceable Public Assets by Communication & Works Department B&R Division Skardu

NOTE: This is an AUCTION/LEASE notice, not a procurement tender. Bidders pay the department to acquire ownership, lease, rental, or collection rights. The Communication & Works Department B&R Division Gilgit-Baltistan invites sealed bids from the general public for the auction of obsolete, unserviceable, and surplus public assets located near the Secretary C&WD Camp Office in Skardu. This auction offers an excellent opportunity for interested bidders to acquire various heavy machinery and scrap items on an "AS IS WHERE IS" basis. Items being auctioned: - Chain Dozer Ty-220 (chain), 22000 Kg, Reserve Price Rs. 3,146,000 - Chain Dozer t-180 (China) U/S, 12000 Kg, Reserve Price Rs. 1,716,000 - Bed Ford D Truck (GLT-1039, 1976 Model), 6000 Kg, Reserve Price Rs. 1,014,000 - Crane (Breakdown) Model Q.V.A-8 Ton. China (Sino Mach), 8000 Kg, Reserve Price Rs. 1,352,000 - Air Compressor Machine Various type 450 kg P/Compressor (19 Nos x 450) = 8550 Kgs, Reserve Price Rs. 1,115,000 - Scraps items various type i/c drill machine scraps, engine, gearbox, frame etc, 5500 Kg, Reserve Price Rs. 715,000 - Tyre various size (200 nos), Motor Cycle Kawasaki 100 cc 2 nos (only Frame) & GLT-90 Jeep CJ-5 (Only frame), 01 Lot, Reserve Price Rs. 196,370 The auction will be conducted through sealed bids in accordance with applicable government rules. Bidders must quote prices against complete lots as specified. Earnest money at 5% of the reserve price must be submitted in the form of CDR in favor of the Executive Engineer, B&R Division GB C&WD Skardu. The successful bidder must deposit 25% of the bid amount within 7 working days and pay the balance within 14 days of acceptance. Assets must be removed at the bidder's own cost within the stipulated period. Eligibility requires a valid CNIC issued by NADRA, and employees or relatives of the C&W Department GB or disposal committee members are not eligible. Bidders should inspect assets during office hours from 10 AM to 4 PM before submission. The auction closes on 29-10-2026. Interested bidders should submit sealed bids by the closing date to the office of the Executive Engineer, B&R Division Skardu. A practical tip for bidders is to carefully inspect the assets on site and ensure all bid documents, including earnest money and CNIC copies, are complete to avoid rejection.
