AUCTION: Old Vehicles and Miscellaneous Scrap at G-11/1 Islamabad

NOTE: This is an AUCTION/LEASE notice, not a procurement tender. Bidders pay the department to acquire ownership, lease, rental, or collection rights. The Capital Development Authority (CDA) is conducting an open auction of old vehicles and miscellaneous scrap items at the G-11/1, Islamabad, site. This auction presents an opportunity for interested buyers to acquire a variety of government-owned vehicles and other surplus materials that have been declared unserviceable or obsolete by the authority. The auction will be held on 18 August 2024 at 11:00 AM at the designated CDA location in G-11/1, Islamabad. Items being auctioned: - Old vehicles from various years including 1991, 2006, 2008, 2009, 2012, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019 - Miscellaneous scrap items and spare parts - Tyres, batteries, and other vehicle-related scrap - Additional lots as per the detailed list available at the auction venue All items are available for inspection prior to the auction date. Interested parties are encouraged to visit the site to review the condition and quantity of the lots. The auction will be conducted on an as-is-where-is basis, and successful bidders must deposit 25 percent of the bid amount immediately after the auction. The remaining balance must be paid within the stipulated time as per CDA rules. A non-refundable entry fee and valid CNIC are required for participation. The auction committee reserves the right to accept or reject any bid without assigning any reason. For bidders, it is advisable to arrive early on the auction day to complete registration and inspect the lots thoroughly. Bringing a mechanic or scrap expert can help in assessing the true value of the vehicles and materials on offer.
