Auction of Yard No. 52 Converter Slag, Yard No. 04 Mixed Steel Scrap, and Yard Scrap Shop-II Scrap at Pakistan Steel

NOTE: This is an AUCTION/LEASE notice, not a procurement tender. Bidders pay the department to acquire ownership, lease, rental, or collection rights. Pakistan Steel invites bids for the disposal of scrap materials lying at various yards inside the Main Plant. The auction includes Yard No. 52 Converter Slag with some metal inclusions, Yard No. 04 Mixed Steel Scrap containing scrapped Salb/Bloom/Crane-Rail pieces, and Yard Scrap Shop-II consisting of Blooms/Billet End Cuts, HR Sheet, Girders, and other scrap lying at the Scrap preparation shop (SMD). Items being auctioned: - Converter Slag with some Metal Inclusions (Yard No. 52, Lot) - Mixed Steel Scrap containing scrapped Salb/Bloom/Crane-Rail pieces (Yard No. 04, 150 MTN Approx) - Blooms/Billet End Cuts, HR Sheet, Girders etc. (Yard Scrap Shop-II, 75 MTN Approx) The auction is conducted on a Per Ton & As Is Where Is Basis. The lifting periods are 43 working days for Yard No. 52, 15 working days for Yard No. 04, and 10 working days for Scrap Shop-II. Interested parties must submit their bids through the official E-PADS website by 10:00 hours on 14-10-2026. Bids will be opened the same day at 10:30 hours. Only bidders registered with Sales Tax and NTN are eligible to participate by uploading their Sales Tax Registration Certificate and NTN Certificate on E-PADS. Pakistan Steel reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids without assigning any reason. All bidders are advised to visit the E-PADS website to offer their bids. A practical tip for bidders: Ensure your Sales Tax and NTN certificates are valid and uploaded correctly on the E-PADS portal before the deadline to avoid disqualification. Also, carefully review the lifting periods and plan logistics accordingly to meet the timelines.
