Tender Description
This tender invites qualified auto workshops based in Islamabad and Rawalpindi to participate in an open framework agreement for the repair and maintenance of Heavy Transport Vehicles (HTV), Light Transport Vehicles (LTV), and motorbikes for NADRA HQ Islamabad. The scope covers a wide range of services including brake repairs, engine overhauling, denting and painting, suspension work, battery replacement, filter changes, wheel alignment, A/C system servicing, and interior cleaning. The workshops must be equipped with modern tools and have experienced mechanics, auto electricians, and denters/painters to ensure quality service delivery.
The contract requires workshops to maintain a safe parking area for 4 to 6 vehicles and to guarantee spare parts and services with warranties such as a minimum 50,000 km guarantee on engine overhauling and six months on repairs and parts. The repair turnaround time is generally one week, with a maximum of 21 days for complex jobs. NADRA reserves the right to issue poor performance certificates and terminate contracts if service standards are not met. The workshops will receive work orders as per NADRA's operational needs, which may vary over time.
Applicants must have valid NTN and GST registration, be on the active tax payer list of FBR, and provide documentary evidence including CNIC, bank statements for the last three years, and proof of experience with government or private organizations. The tender advises compliance with PEC categories and FBR/ATL status for the fiscal year 2025-26 to ensure eligibility and smooth processing. Workshops should also be mindful of the Earnest Money and Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) requirements as per NADRA's procurement rules.
The submission deadline is set for 12th February 2026 at 11:00 AM, with applications to be delivered in sealed envelopes to NADRA HQ Procurement Department, Shahrah-e-Jamhuriat, G-5/2, Islamabad. The technical bid opening will follow at 11:30 AM on the same day. Interested bidders should ensure all documents are complete and properly tagged to avoid disqualification.
Pro-Tip: Make sure to check the newspaper advertisement and NADRA's official tender portal for any addenda or clarifications issued close to the submission deadline. Also, verify the specific stamp duty and Earnest Money requirements carefully, as these are common pitfalls that can lead to rejection of bids.
