Tender Description
The Communication and Works Department, Building Division Lodhran, is inviting bids for the balance work of the ADP Scheme 2025-26. This tender is specifically for contractors registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in category C-6 and above. The project is located in Lodhran, Punjab, and involves civil construction works as part of the ongoing development program.
The scope of work includes completing the remaining construction activities under the ADP Scheme, with a contract duration of six months. Contractors are required to submit a Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) at 2% of the estimated cost as earnest money from any scheduled bank in favor of the Executive Engineer Buildings Division Lodhran. The original CDR must be submitted to the Tender Opening Committee half an hour before bid opening, or the bid will be disqualified. Bidders must quote rates online on an item rate basis against each item of the BOQ and the total amount.
Eligibility criteria include valid PEC registration in the specified category, FBR registration, and relevant experience in similar civil works. The tender opening will take place on 22nd July 2026 at 11:00 AM at the office of the commissioner. Bidders should ensure all pages of the DNIT are signed and stamped, and the quoted units comply with the MRS standards. Any clarifications should be sought before submission to avoid disqualification.
The submission deadline is strictly 22nd July 2026 at 11:00 AM. Bidders are advised to carefully prepare their technical and financial bids, ensuring compliance with all PPRA and department rules. A practical tip for bidders is to attend the bid opening session to understand the competitive rates and prepare for possible negotiations or clarifications. This tender offers a significant opportunity for qualified contractors to engage in a government development project with a clear scope and defined timelines.
