Tender Description
This tender invites bids for the procurement of bird repellent systems to be installed at major airports including Jinnah International Airport Karachi, Islamabad International Airport, Bacha Khan International Airport Peshawar, Faisalabad International Airport, and Multan International Airport. The Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA) requires advanced bird deterrent technology to enhance aviation safety by minimizing bird strike risks across these critical airfields in Pakistan.
The scope covers supply, delivery, and installation of bird repellent systems designed to operate effectively in diverse climatic conditions of Karachi, Islamabad, Peshawar, Faisalabad, and Multan. The systems must comply with aviation safety standards and be robust enough to withstand environmental challenges such as high temperatures and dust. The project demands coordination with airport authorities and adherence to strict operational protocols to ensure minimal disruption to airport activities.
Bidders should ensure compliance with PEC registration requirements relevant to the category of goods and maintain 100% compliance with FBR's Active Taxpayer List (ATL) for the fiscal year 2025-26. Submission of valid GST and NTN certificates is mandatory. The tender requires earnest money in the form of original bid security attached with the technical proposal and a copy submitted online via the PPRA EPADS portal.
The submission deadline is set for 25th February 2026, with bid opening scheduled on the same day at 11:30 AM for Karachi and 11:00 AM for Multan at the Logistics Center (South), HQ Pakistan Airports Authority, JIAP Karachi. Bidders must submit both electronic bids through the PPRA EPADS system and sealed hard copies to the specified address before the deadline.
Pro-Tip: Ensure your bid security instruments are genuine and properly documented; any dishonored financial instruments will lead to blacklisting and legal action. Also, double-check the bid submission requirements on the PPRA EPADS portal to avoid disqualification due to technical errors.
