Tender Description
This tender invites contractors in Quetta from the Urban Planning and Development Department for the construction of BT road drains and sewerage lines with tuff tile at Lehri Chowk extending to Madrasa Roza-Tul-Ilm and adjoining areas. The project involves civil works requiring quality materials and skilled workmanship to ensure proper drainage and sewerage infrastructure in the city. Contractors must hold valid registration with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in Category C-6 or above, with renewal cases deposited for the 2025-26 financial year. Firms should also be registered with the Balochistan Revenue Authority and be on the Active Taxpayer List (ATL) of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR). A minimum turnover for the last three years and completion of at least three similar assignments is mandatory. Bid security in the form of a Call Deposit Receipt or Bank Guarantee of 2% is required.
The submission deadline is set for 20th February 2026 at 9:00 am, with bid opening at 10:00 am on the same day at the office of the Executive Engineer, Urban Planning and Development Department, Quetta Division. Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes either by hand or registered mail. The bidding documents can be downloaded from the BPPRA website, and a tender processing fee of Rs. 1500 must be deposited via government treasury.
