Carriage of Tower and Stringing Material, Construction of RCC and Pile Foundations, Hill Cutting, Tower Erection, and Stringing of Conductor for River Crossing of 11 KV Feeders

The Hazara Electric Supply Company (HAZECO) in Abbottabad, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, invites bids for comprehensive civil and electrical works related to the carriage of tower and stringing materials, construction of RCC and pile foundations, hill cutting, erection of towers, and stringing of conductors for river crossing of 11 KV feeders. This procurement is part of the WAPDA deposit work for the fiscal year 2026-27. Items being procured: - Carriage of tower/tubular poles and stringing material including earth wire from Jamrud warehouse to site store/site of work - Construction of RCC foundation and pile foundations for towers including excavation, concreting, curing, and backfilling - Installation of grounding sets - Fabrication and casting of bored RCC piles with reinforcement - Reinforced cement concrete work for structural members - Erection of towers/tubular poles including transportation from site camp store, fixing of anti-climbing devices, barbed wire, and name plates - Stringing of Lynx conductor including river crossing, installation of disc insulators, connectors, mid-span joints, and stock bridge dampers - Stringing of earth wire and installation of stock bridge dampers - Hill cutting for foundation preparation - Construction of retaining walls including excavation, cement concrete plain work, coursed rubble masonry, and earth filling The technical scope covers carriage over a total distance of 396 KMs, construction of foundations as per standard drawings and specifications, erection of ZM-60 type towers, and stringing of conductors and earth wires with all necessary accessories. The site is located in Dasu, Kohistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Eligibility criteria require bidders to have at least five years of construction experience, PEC registration with relevant category and codes, successful completion of at least two contracts of similar nature within the last five years with minimum 50% of the estimated cost, valid FBR and KPRA registration, and audited financial records for the last two years. Bidders quoting 10% or more below the engineer's estimate must submit an additional 2% bid security. The bid submission deadline is Friday, July 31, 2026, at 11:00 AM via EPADS v2.0. Manual submissions are not accepted. Bidders must register on EPADS and submit bid security in the form of Call at Deposit. The bid opening will be on the same day at 11:30 AM. The contract duration is 60 days from the start date, with a 365-day defect liability period. Performance guarantee of 10% of contract price is required in the form of a bank guarantee.
