Tender Description
This tender invites qualified contractors in Turbat for the construction of cattle fencing alongside the outer wall near the Weapon Storage Facility at NAS Turbat under the Pakistan Navy Marine Field Engineering Company (MFEC). The project involves installation of durable fencing materials designed to secure the perimeter effectively, ensuring safety and operational integrity at the naval air station.
The work requires contractors to manage site-specific challenges including terrain and security protocols at a sensitive military location. Contractors must be registered with PEC and GST, and demonstrate active tax compliance. The fencing materials and installation must meet engineering standards suitable for military infrastructure in Balochistan.
Contractors should ensure their PEC registration is valid and aligned with the required category for civil works. Active tax payer status and NTN registration are mandatory for eligibility. The tender follows PPRA rules and requires submission of earnest money and relevant certificates as per 2025-26 procurement guidelines.
The submission deadline is set for 15 April 2026 at 11:30 AM, with bid opening at 12:00 PM at SO (Works) Office Headquarters Commander Pakistan Fleet, Karachi. Tender documents will be issued only to pre-qualified contractors from 30 March to 14 April 2026. All bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes to the specified office.
Pro-Tip: Ensure your bid includes all mandatory documents and valid PEC registration to avoid disqualification. Also, verify the exact stamp duty requirements in the newspaper advertisement, as these are often overlooked and can cause delays in bid acceptance.
