Tender Description
The Public Health Engineering Division Orakzai invites electronic bids through E-PADS from eligible firms and contractors registered with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) and having relevant specialization certificates. The procurement is for civil and electrical/mechanical works in Orakzai district, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Items being procured:
- AOM&R Civil Work at Ghiljo District Orakzai (Estimated Cost Rs. 5.00 Million)
- AOM&R Civil Work at Kalaya District Orakzai (Estimated Cost Rs. 8.00 Million)
- AOM&R Electrical/Mechanical Work at Ghiljo District Orakzai (Estimated Cost Rs. 5.00 Million)
- AOM&R Electrical/Mechanical Work at Kalaya District Orakzai (Estimated Cost Rs. 6.00 Million)
The scope includes annual operation, maintenance, and repair works for civil and electrical/mechanical infrastructure in the specified districts. Bidders must be registered with PEC under codes CE-09 for civil works and EE-04, EE-05, EE-11, ME-07 for electrical and mechanical works. Financial soundness, relevant experience, and personnel qualifications are mandatory. Earnest money and bid security as per KP-PPRA rules are required.
Bids must be submitted electronically via the E-PADS portal by 30th September 2026 at 12:00 noon, with physical submission of original bid security and tender fees at the office of the Executive Engineer Public Health Engineering Division Orakzai. The opening of bids will be on the same day at 12:30 noon. Bidders quoting rates more than 20% below estimate must provide detailed rate analysis. Mechanical works bidders must have an operational workshop within District/Hangu. Visit applications for workshops must be submitted three days prior to closing date.
A practical tip for bidders: Ensure your PEC registration codes and KPRA active status are up to date and clearly documented in your bid to avoid disqualification. Also, submit bids for only one package to prevent rejection.
