Design and Construction/Fabrication of Steel Structure Storage Shed at Electricity Department Muzaffarabad

The Azad Jammu & Kashmir Electricity Department invites sealed bids from eligible firms registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council and holding valid income tax registration with FBR/AJK IRD. This procurement is for the design and construction/fabrication of a steel structure storage shed at the office of the Chief Engineer Electricity Muzaffarabad. Items being procured: - Design and construction/fabrication of steel structure storage shed The scope includes complete design and fabrication work for a steel storage shed, ensuring quality materials and workmanship suitable for the site at Muzaffarabad. Bidders must have PEC registration in category C-6 or above with specialization codes CE-10 and SC-01. They must also demonstrate at least one successfully completed contract of similar nature within the last five years. Earnest money in the form of CDR, Bank Draft, Pay Order, or Bank Guarantee from a scheduled bank in Pakistan is required, valid for 28 days beyond the bid validity period. Bids must be valid for 50 days from the date of opening and inclusive of all applicable taxes and duties in AJK. Bidding documents can be obtained from the Directorate Grids/Transmission Lines office at the Chief Engineer Electricity Muzaffarabad from 16th September 2026 to 26th September 2026 upon submission of a written application on official letterhead, authority letter for the purchaser, valid PEC registration copies, and payment of a non-refundable fee of Rs. 3,000 per set. Bids must be submitted to the same office by 10:30 AM on 28th September 2026 and will be opened at 11:00 AM the same day in the presence of bidders' representatives. The department reserves the right to reject any or all bids as per AJK PPRA Rules. Blacklisted firms or those in conflict with government policies are prohibited from participation.
