Tender Description
Pakistan Railways Rawalpindi invites bids from approved contractors registered with Pakistan Engineering Council under relevant civil and electrical specialization and listed on the Active Taxpayers List (ATL) of FBR. The procurement is for various repair, renovation, and construction works at Rawalpindi Railway Station and associated facilities. Items being procured:
- Special Repair/Renovation of Business Lounge at Rawalpindi Railway Station
- Construction of new room for Generator Shop near Sick Line at Loco Shed IOW-II/Rawalpindi
- Special Repair Group Works in IOW-I & II/Rawalpindi (Quarter No.223/A, 51/B, 720/A, 441/A, 295/D, 2/A-D, 606/A)
- Replacement of damaged CGI sheets of different shops in CDL Work Shop Rawalpindi
The scope includes civil and electrical repair works, renovation of business lounge, construction of new rooms, and replacement of damaged roofing sheets. Bidders must have valid PEC registration with relevant codes and be on ATL. Earnest money in the form of CDR or Bank Guarantee is required as per bid security amounts listed for each work. Bidding documents are available on EPADS v2.0 portal. Bids must be submitted electronically via EPADS along with scanned bid security and supporting documents. Original bid security and documents must be submitted in sealed envelopes to the Divisional Accounts Officer Pakistan Railways Rawalpindi by the deadline.
The last date for bid submission is Thursday, November 12, 2026, till 12:00 PM, with bid opening at 12:30 PM the same day in the presence of bidders' representatives. Only bids submitted through EPADS v2.0 will be accepted. Pakistan Railways reserves the right to reject all bids prior to acceptance and will communicate grounds for rejection upon request.
