Tender Description
The Comsats University Islamabad (Sahiwal Campus) is inviting bids for civil works related to the construction and installation of a basketball court including allied accessories at its Sahiwal campus in Punjab. This procurement is planned for the financial year 2026-27 and is open to eligible bidders registered on EPADS v2.0. The scope of work includes providing, fabricating, supplying, transporting, and fixing the following items:
- Basketball Goal Post System (2 Each) comprising heavy duty MS Steel Pipe 6" dia, 10 gauge, with A-Class quality wooden backboard (6'-0" × 3'-6", 1" thickness, Shisham wood), MS angle frame, basketball rim and net, painted with anti-rust primer and synthetic enamel paint
- Excavation in foundation including dagbelling, dressing, refilling, watering and ramming (140 P-Cft)
- Supply and erection of PVC pipe for wiring including inspection boxes, pull boxes, hooks (90 P-Rft)
- Supply and erection of PVC insulated, PVC sheathed copper conductor cables for service connection, two core 7/0.74 mm (550 P-Rft) and 7/0.91 mm (230 P-Rft)
- Providing, fabricating, supplying, transporting and erecting 20 ft high Flood Light Poles made of 2½" dia heavy duty 10 gauge MS Pipe with RCC foundation and anchor bolts (8 Each)
- Providing and fixing 100W LED Flood Lights at approx. 16–17 ft height (32 Each)
- Providing and fixing 16 gauge MS DB Box with 03 Nos. 10 Amp Single Pole MCBs and 01 No. 32 Amp Double Pole MCB including internal wiring (1 Each)
The technical scope covers complete installation, welding, grinding, painting, and fixing at the existing basketball court site as directed by the Engineer Incharge. Bidders must be registered with FBR and hold relevant PEC categories for civil and electrical works. Experience in similar projects and compliance with Public Procurement Rules 2004 is mandatory. The bid security must be submitted as per the bidding documents.
