Tender Description
This tender invites qualified contractors in Islamabad to undertake civil works for the preparation of a 4.5m SATCOM antenna base at NADRA HQ. The scope includes foundation construction, cable tray installation, RF cable laying, earthing, and provision of forklifter/crane services. The project demands precise structural analysis, waterproofing, and robust earthing to ensure the antenna's stability and operational efficiency in the capital's environment. The contractor must comply with all technical specifications and submit a bid security of PKR 50,000. The tender follows a single stage two envelope procedure with electronic bid submission via EPADS.
The work involves detailed site survey, structural design, RCC pedestal construction, and installation of galvanized steel cable trays with UV resistance. High-quality LMR-400 cables and earthing pits with resistance ≤1 ohm are required. Forklifter and crane services will assist in lifting heavy materials and antenna installation at heights up to 60 feet. The project timeline is 8 weeks from contract signing.
Bidders must be registered, active on FBR's ATL list, and not blacklisted. PEC category compliance and FBR registration are mandatory. The financial year 2025-26 funds this procurement.
