Conducting Three Exploratory Boreholes for Setting Up Reverse Osmosis (RO) Plant at Various Locations

Karachi Port Trust (KPT) invites experienced bidders registered with Government, Semi Government Departments or reputable clients to conduct three exploratory boreholes for setting up a Reverse Osmosis (RO) Plant at various locations in Karachi. The scope of work includes drilling works with a depth of 700 feet (depth not fixed but expected water quality at 700 feet), development and flushing, and temporary casing as per site requirements. Water sampling and testing will be conducted at depths from 100 to 700 feet, including tests for TDS, EC, hardness, pH, chlorides, sulphates, and bacteriological analysis. A hydro-geological report is also required. Items being procured: - Drilling works to 700 ft depth - Development and flushing - Temporary casing - Water sampling and testing at 100-700 ft - Hydro-geological report Bidders must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council in Category C-6 or above and submit bids online through the E-PADS (Version 2.0) portal. The tender fee is Rs. 3,000 (non-refundable) and the bid security is Rs. 25,000 (fixed refundable) payable by Pay Order in favor of the Chief Accounts Officer KPT. Required documents include valid PEC registration, NTN certificate, online tax verification, SRB certificate, affidavit of non-default in income tax and blacklisting, and audited financial statements or tax returns showing minimum turnover of Rs. 1 million for firms or individuals. The bid opening will be held in the Committee Room of the Civil Works / Engineering Department at the KPT Head Office Building, Karachi, on 28-08-2026 at 1100 hours. Bidders should ensure their bids are submitted online before the deadline. KPT reserves the right to reject any or all bids without assigning reasons.
