Tender Description
The Directorate General of Archaeology, Government of the Punjab, invites e-Bids through ePADS from eligible firms registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council in the relevant category for conservation projects. This tender covers the conservation of several significant historical monuments and railway stations across Punjab, with a focus on restoration and preservation works. The department is seeking experienced contractors with specialization in BC-02 (Restoration & Conservation).
Items being procured:
- Conservation of Historical Monuments of District Attock (Behram ki Baradari and Attock Tomb), estimated cost: Rs. 63.807 Million
- Conservation of Monuments of 2nd Anglo Sikh War, District Mandi Baha Din, estimated cost: Rs. 14.006 Million
- Conservation of Lahore Railway Station, estimated cost: Rs. 200 Million
- Conservation of Taxila Railway Station, estimated cost: Rs. 100 Million
- Conservation of Fatima Jinnah College Gujrat, estimated cost: Rs. 125.813 Million
The technical scope includes comprehensive restoration, structural repairs, and preservation of heritage features at each site. All works must be completed by 30th April 2027. Bidders must be registered with PEC in the required category (C-5 or above for most lots, C-3 for Lahore Railway Station, C-4 for Taxila and Fatima Jinnah College). Earnest Money of 5% of the estimated cost is mandatory for each lot, to be submitted as CDR or Bank Guarantee in favor of the Director General Archaeology. Bids must be submitted electronically via ep.punjab.gov.pk by 12th August, 2026 at 01:00 PM. A pre-bid meeting will be held on 27th July, 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Directorate's office in Lahore.
All bidders should ensure that their DNIT/BOQs and Bank Entries are fully completed, as incomplete submissions will be considered non-responsive.
