Tender for Construction of 2x3 Duct Line with Manholes from G-8/2 to Ravi Road (Part-II) under Deposit Head by IESCO Islamabad

The Islamabad Electric Supply Company Limited (IESCO) invites sealed electronic bids through the e-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) for the construction of a 2x3 duct line with manholes from G-8/2 to Ravi Road (Part-II) under deposit head. This project falls under the jurisdiction of the Construction Division of IESCO Islamabad. The tender reference number is 28/2026-27. Items being procured: - Construction of 2x3 duct line with manholes from G-8/2 to Ravi Road (Part-II) - Excavation and formation in shingle and gravel - Excavation in very hard soil - Providing and laying joints and testing of AC Pipe class B 125mm I/Dia and 7mm wall thickness including rubber joints - Cement concrete plain 1:2:4, 1:3:6, and 1:4:8 - Dismantling cement concrete plain 1:2:4 - Brick work other than building including striking of joints up to 3.00 Mtr height - Cement plaster (1:3) up to 1st floor height 13 mm - Erection and removal of centering for RCC or plain cement concrete work - Reinforced cement concrete work using coarse sand - Supplying and fabrication of intermediate grade deformed reinforcement for RCC - Providing and laying PVC class-B pipe line 125 mm (5" dia) - Conducting horizontal boring for 6" MM I/Dia The scope includes all civil works related to duct line construction, manhole installation, and associated concrete and brick works as per IESCO specifications and drawings. The project is to be executed at the site in Islamabad. Eligibility criteria require bidders to be registered with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) under specialized codes EE-04, EE-05, CE-10, and have valid registrations with FBR, Punjab Revenue Authority, and NTDC Lahore. Bidders must demonstrate financial capability with audited financial statements showing net worth, cash flow, and average annual turnover as specified. Joint ventures are allowed with specific conditions. Bids must be submitted online via EPADS v2.0 by Monday, October 5, 2026, at 09:30 AM. Bid opening will be on the same day at 10:00 AM. Manual bids will not be accepted. A bid security of 2% of the BOQ cost in the form of CDR, Pay Order, or Bank Guarantee is required and must be submitted physically before bid opening. The contract will be awarded based on Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) technique. Performance guarantee of 5% of contract price is required from the successful bidder.
