Construction of 05 Bridges in District Muzaffarabad

The Local Government and Rural Development Department Azad Jammu and Kashmir is procuring construction services for five bridges in District Muzaffarabad. This tender invites experienced and eligible contractors to participate in the construction and retrofitting of these bridges under a project funded by the Government of AJ&K. The scope includes civil works related to bridge construction, requiring contractors to have valid PEC registration in category C2 or above with specialization codes 02(i,ii,vi,vii,viii). Bidders quoting below 10% of the engineering estimate must submit additional bid security equal to the difference between the estimate and their bid price. The deadline for bid submission is 13th May 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Local Government and Rural Development Department office in Muzaffarabad. Technical bids will be opened the same day at 11:30 AM. Blacklisted firms or contractors are not eligible. An affidavit confirming the bidder is not blacklisted or in conflict with any government department in Pakistan or AJ&K must be provided. All applicable taxes and duties in AJ&K will be deducted from bills as per prevailing rules. A practical tip for bidders is to conduct a thorough site visit before submission. Lack of site knowledge will not be entertained as a claim. Ensure earnest money in the form of CDR, pay order, or bank draft from a scheduled bank in Pakistan accompanies the bid. Incomplete or conditional bids without bid security will be rejected.
