Town Municipal Corporation Ibrahim Hyderi, District Malir, Karachi invites bids for the construction of a culvert at Bakra Malpiri Main Gate, Road No. 09, UC-03 Cattle Colony. This procurement is part of the annual works plan for the financial year 2026-2027 and includes civil construction activities involving excavation, reinforced cement concrete work, steel reinforcement, and finishing works. Items being procured: - Excavation in foundation of building bridges and other structures including dagbelling, dressing, refilling around structure with excavated earth - Cement concrete brick or stone ballast 1 1/2" to 2" gauge - Reinforced cement concrete work including all labour and material except steel reinforcement - Fabrication of deformed steel reinforcement for cement concrete including cutting, bending, laying in position, making joints and fastenings - Providing and laying topping of cement concrete (1:2:4) including surface finishing 3" thick The scope covers all necessary materials, labour, and equipment to complete the culvert construction as per the specifications and drawings provided by the Executive Engineer. The site is located on the main National Highway Road near Benazir in Karachi. Eligibility criteria include valid PEC registration with relevant category, NTN certificate, Sindh Revenue Board registration, professional tax certificate, electrical license for related works, and at least five years of relevant experience. Firms must not be blacklisted and must provide affidavits confirming no litigation or delays in government contracts. Documentary proof of machinery, equipment, and satisfactory completion certificates for similar works are required. The bid security is 5% of the estimated cost, and the contract period is 90 days from the date of commencement.
