Construction of Drinking Water Supply and Sanitation Schemes in Southern Districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

The Public Health Engineering Division Karak-I, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, invites online electronic bids from eligible firms and contractors registered with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC), KP Revenue Authority (KPRA), and Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) for the execution of multiple drinking water supply and sanitation schemes in southern districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa including Kohat, Hangu, Karak, Bannu, Lakki Marwat, Tank, and D.I. Khan. The sites are located in multiple southern districts, requiring contractors to have experience in water supply and sanitation infrastructure, including solar power integration for tube wells. Eligibility criteria require valid PEC registration, KPRA and FBR active status certificates, KP Central Enlistment Registration, affidavit of non-blacklisting on stamp paper, and Form-H or SECP registration if applicable. Bid security must be submitted as a Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) equal to 2% of the estimated cost, valid for 28 days beyond bid validity. Additional security applies for bids quoting below the engineer's estimate as per KPPRA rules. Bids must be submitted online via the E-PADS system with scanned mandatory documents. Original bid security must be delivered by registered courier before the closing date. Late or incomplete bids will be rejected. The competent authority reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids under Rule 47 of KPPRA Rules, 2014. The closing date and time for bid submission is 16th September 2026 at 11:30 AM, with opening at 1:30 PM the same day at the office of the Executive Engineer, PHE Division Karak-I, Tehsil Colony, Karak, near Telephone Exchange. A practical tip for bidders is to ensure all scanned documents are complete and uploaded correctly on the E-PADS portal to avoid disqualification for non-responsiveness. Also, carefully prepare the bid security and additional security if bidding below the engineer's estimate to comply with KPPRA regulations.
