Construction of Medical Dispensary at PMDC Salt Mines Makrach

The Pakistan Mineral Development Corporation (PMDC) is inviting bids for the construction of a Medical Dispensary at PMDC Salt Mines Makrach, Punjab. This procurement is planned for the financial year 2026-27 and is being conducted under the National Single Stage-One Envelope method with Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) technique. The project involves comprehensive civil and electrical works at the Salt Mines Makrach site. Items being procured: - Excavation for foundation trenches and drains (555 Cft) - Back filling with earth from approved site (1507.81 Cft) - PCC 1:4:8 cement concrete in foundation (78.75 Cft) - RCC foundation 1:2:4 concrete (62 Cft) - Fabrication of mild steel reinforcement cage (7.31 Cft) - RCC plinth beam 1:2:4 concrete (30.38 Cft) - Brick work in foundation (103.27 Cft) - Brick work in superstructure 9" wall (449.63 Cft) - RCC column in superstructure (22.5 Cft) - RCC lintel beam 1:2:4 concrete (7.31 Cft) - RCC slab 1:2:4 concrete (119 Cft) - Reinforcement bars (681.84 Kgs) - Cement plaster on walls and columns (983 Sft) - Cement plaster on roof soffits (238 Sft) - Distempering with vinyl distemper (441.5 Sft) - Weather shield painting (572.5 Sft) - Marble floor tiles laying (180 Sft) - Solid core deodar wood veneered flush door (24.5 Sft) - M.S. moulded steel door frame (17.5 Rft) - Aluminium sliding windows (24 Sft) - Tinted glass panes 5mm thick (24 Sft) - Electrical wiring with PVC insulated copper wire (300 Rft and 200 Nos) - Installation of recessed/surface mounted ceiling lights (6 Nos) - Installation of LED tube/batten lights (4 Nos) - Polycarbonate flame retardant switches and sockets (various quantities) - Ceiling fans and fan dimmers (2 Nos each) The scope covers excavation, concrete works, brick masonry, plastering, painting, flooring, carpentry, aluminium works, glazing, and electrical installations. All materials and workmanship must conform to the highest quality standards and approved specifications. The project duration is 90 days with a defect liability period of 12 months. Eligibility criteria include valid NADRA citizenship, FBR registration (NTN and GST), bid security of Rs. 100,000, list of construction machinery, experience certificates, and affidavit of no litigation or conflict of interest. Bidders must be registered on EPADS v2.0 and submit bids electronically by August 7, 2026, 11:00 AM. Bid security must be submitted in hard copy to PMDC Head Office Islamabad. The estimated cost is **PKR 2,000,000.30** inclusive of all taxes. The contract will be awarded to the lowest evaluated responsive bidder. Performance guarantee of 10% of contract price is required. No advance payment or interim bills will be entertained. Bidders are advised to visit the site before quoting.
