Tender Description
The CMES (Army) Rawalpindi-II invites pre-qualification applications from contractors and firms for a comprehensive range of works including construction, repair, minor maintenance, provision, and appointment of an auctioneer for miscellaneous buildings and bazar supply of Building and Roads (B&R) and Electrical and Mechanical (E&M) items. This tender is specifically for projects located in Rawalpindi under the jurisdiction of CMES (Army) Rawalpindi-II.
The technical scope covers a variety of civil and electrical works involving maintenance and repair of buildings, supply of bazar items related to B&R and E&M, and appointment of an auctioneer. Contractors must demonstrate experience in similar works and provide detailed records of executed projects over the last two years. The tender documents will be issued only to firms with sufficient relevant experience and who meet the special conditions for the job and area.
Eligibility criteria require contractors to be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in categories A, B, C, or D. Firms not registered with PEC are ineligible. Additionally, contractors must provide a certificate confirming no litigation or outstanding reports against them from government departments. FBR and ATL registration are implied requirements for government tenders. The tender opening is scheduled for 16 June 2026 at 1200 hours, with submission deadline at 1130 hours the same day.
Interested bidders should submit their applications to the accepting officer at CMES (Army) Rawalpindi-II. Contact for further details is available from 0800 to 1500 hours on working days. A practical tip for bidders is to ensure their technical and financial bids are complete and supported by all required certifications and experience documents to avoid disqualification during scrutiny. Early submission is advised to accommodate any procedural clarifications before the deadline.
This tender offers a valuable opportunity for qualified contractors to engage in diverse civil and electrical works within a military engineering context in Rawalpindi, with clear guidelines on eligibility and submission.
